A successful mentoring partnership can provide a opportunity to learn from others experience; provide guidance and act as a sounding board on challenging decisions; provide different perspectives, expand professional networks, build confidence and support your career development.

Role of the Mentee

  • Participate in the mentoring relationship - identifying the skills, knowledge and goals to be achieved

  • Take full advantage of the opportunity to learn - be open to advice from others who are more experienced

  • Take responsibility to drive the relationship – making, confirming & preparing for meetings, and following up on agreed actions.
